I went in for a normal oil change and ended up waiting...

I went in for a normal oil change and ended up waiting for 4 hours. I had heard a couple of times that it might take a little longer than usual so I Didn’t initially say anything. But finally I did and turns out that my paperwork was never turned in. Thankfully the gentleman was able to help me out and get me out within an hour. Needless to say he was able to turn the long wait into a good experience.

Battery Replace

I had maintenance done for my 2005 RV-4. I was told the battery needed to be replaced immediately. I said that the battery was changed 2 or 3 years ago and I drive only about 20 miles daily. The answer was a battery should last 2 or 3 years in the southern area. Since I saw Ray Brandt is in promotion of sale 84-months warranty TrueSart battery, I did not believe my car battery should be replaced. Next day, I brought my car to Auto Zone for check to verify if the battery was exhausted, my battery is in very good condition.

Really impressed

Recently moved here and this was my first time using Ray Brandt for service. I will be back because the service was quick and the representative was very friendly and easy to work with. He was not pushy and understood all concerns. The price was as expected and the work done was great--the numerous issues I had with my vehicle were addressed. The only slightly negative comment I have is that I called and asked about Sunday night drop off for my Monday am appointment, which I was told was fine. When I drove there Sunday night, all entrances were padlocked so I just had to leave my car on the side of the road and hop the gates to drop off my keys. It made me a little leery but all turned out fine.

Engine Riving

When I drive on the interstate using cruise control, my engine drives high. I brought my 2019 car in to be checked. I was informed that the service tech took my car 3 times on the interstate but did not have my experience. First off I checked my odometer. Only 5 miles was driven. It should have been 10 miles. I drove it to verify. Second thing is when I picked up my car, it dived again. The service person helping me really lacked people skills.

Poor customer service.

My first trip started out that they did not have a person to give me a rental. Had to reschedule and come back another day. My next trip was a little better was called over the phone and told a price for front and rear brakes and agreed on the price. When I got the invoice the representative failed to mention the total price which included labor. They charged my warranty company more than what they told me resulting in me paying more than I should have. Not happy with this place at all Not happy with this place at all.

I actually look foward to my service visits at Ray Brandt! Been going here for years, I enjoy seeing the same smiling faces (people here are happy at their jobs) , also like knowing my vehicle receives top-notch care . It helps you to feel a little spoiled having many nice beverage choices provided along with little donuts and cakes while you wait! All of this in a comfortable atmosphere where you can choose to lounge in front of the big screen tv, set your computer up on a high-top table and knock out a little work, or utilize a fairly soundproof room to study or make business calls undisturbed. I feel in today's stressful world we can all use some good positive vibes! If you are looking for good vibes AND great service the crew at Ray Brandt is for you!!

I went to get a wheel alignment and a oil change and they did not do the wheel alignment but they charged me for it as if they did it. Also my representative was not there and anothey guy took care of me and his phone was more important than the client. I also reported 3 problems of witch only one its on record now i got to leave work early again to deal with this issue.

I had a bit of an emergency this past Wednesday morning. My tire light came on and it was 7:30 am. I had a full day of work ahead of me and I needed my car to be functional. Went for a new tire (right front) and had left rear checked for slow leak. Was told all other tires were good but needed alignment. ($100). Later learned actually had a screw in tire- not sure how they did an alignment and missed that (???) and had to take more time away from work to deal with what should have been fixed in one visit. Service website offers loaner cars. Those don’t exist. This place has turned me off of Toyota

I don't have concerns when I go to Ray Brandt Toyota because it is where we first bought our vehicle and that is where we've always gone to have it serviced. I go mainly to just do routine upkeep; and so far it has done well with no major problems. It is a 2010, so it's getting up there. Went great but don’t see why an oil change doesn’t happen at 5000 miles but that’s what I was told and there is a recall on a radar sensor and it can’t be changed on my particular truck cause it has a aftermarket level kit on it and can only be changed if that was removed... and was told a light may come on the dash so I have a brand new truck and will have to ride around with a dash light on not to happy about that also while there had a front end alignment done and now my trucks steering wheel is off center a little bit other then that everything was fine

I called to set up an appointment for an oil change - and luckily got an appointment that afternoon. When I got there, I was greeted and checked in. Everyone here is extremely nice and they go out of their way to assist in any way possible. My car was serviced in minimum time and I was sent on my way. I purchase my automobiles from Lakeside Toyota because I have been doing business with one particular sales person there for 35 years. I feel a sense of loyalty to him. However; I always to go Ray Brandt for my service because of how wonderful these folks are. Far better than any other Toyota service I've ever had. They are 'TOP OF THE LINE' as far as I'm concerned. When I can no longer purchase from Lakeside (if my salesman retires), I will begin using Ray Brandt for all of my vehicle needs. Thanks for such wonderful folks at Ray Brandt !

Perhaps you all were having an off day

Usually you guys are great. However, this was not one of those times. I brought my car in for an oil change and cabin filter change in December, right before the holidays. On my way home I noticed something was wrong with the glove compartment and it would not close. Had to bring the car back a couple of weeks later, turns out during the replacement of the cabin filter, the compartment was damaged. Unfortunately, it could not be fixed that day and a part had to be ordered. Couple of weeks went by and no call regarding the part. Finally, my husband called and part was ready and we were told we could come by and they would fix it. My husband woke up early on a Saturday morning, drove to the dealership, only to be told that they could not do it that day. He was asked to come back on Tuesday morning and it should only take an hour. As it turns out, it took longer than an hour to the point that he almost had to ask for a rental car so he could attend an already scheduled appointment for that day. Again, you guys are usually great, I have been bringing my cars to you for over 14 years and have purchased this car from you last year. However, a simple oil and cabin filter change led to added inconvenience to myself and my husband, 3 extra visits to the dealership and over 4 hours of our time. I gave 2 overall stars because the employees were nice, but other than that, service fell short. I gave 2 stars for quality of work, since if the cabin filter change would have been done correctly in the beginning, none of this would have be necessary. This survey forces me to select employees that we dealt with. I selected all of the employee's that are listed in the service section. If you were not involved in the case, my apologies to you. And again, we do not have any issues with the individuals, everyone is nice and tries to be helpful. I just think from start to finish, our car issues were dropped through the cracks. I sincerely feel that if we would not have called to see if the part was in, I would still be driving around with an open glove compartment....poor follow up.

Doug Montalbano was my contact person for this visit. He had the routine maintenance performed, oil change, etc. and helped me better understand the navigation system in my Avalon, voice activated vs. manual. He also showed me what to do with the rear windows when they are stuck. He checked to be sure I understood how to activate the heater, with cold weather coming. This is different than the AC. I don't know what I would do without Doug; he is much better than the "two inch thick" manual.

Called after 2:15 with results of 12 point inspection, that brake tags were not available and work would begin on recall. The review is of Ray Brandt Service, and Ray Brandt Collision Center, which was doing some body work. Upon the body work being completed the dealership needed to reset various sensors. Additionally, the car was due for regular oil change and tire rotation, so collision center said it would all be handled at once. Was told by collision center that the car was ready. Went to pick it up. Collision center charged me $74 for "no cost" oil change by the dealership. Told the employee that it was supposed to be free, she didn't care. Finally made them give me the receipt from the dealership, which said "no cost". But first, was told my card wasn't good. "You will have to give me another." As though I was trying to charge things on a card which is no good. I called the bank, they said it was fine. Turns out that the Ray Brandt system was at fault. Oops, sorry for suggesting that you were trying to use an invalid card, our mistake. Once the "no cost" issue was straightened out, I got a refund of the $74.. THEN, I got in my car and drove away. Within a couple hundred yards the warning lights came on, instructing me to pull over and contact dealership. Took it back to dealership and left it. Had to pay $20 for a Lyft home, certainly will have to pay again to go back. You would have thought one or both of these organizations (I use the term loosely) could have taken the car for a test ride before telling me it was ready. A waste of 2 hours and $40. Hope to never use Ray Brandt Collision Center again. Kind of stuck with the dealership since I bought my last 3 cars from them.

I use toyotacare - and have, in the past, not always had clear communication about when a repair or service 'counts' as included care. Staff at Ray Brandt not only found my toyotacare contract, but walked me through a scheduled service I'd missed - and let me know a timeline for when my care contract expired. This sounds like a small deal, but it makes a huge difference knowing that this dealership honors the agreements made with the larger toyota leasing and toyotacare institutions, plus the waiting space was clean, stocked with food, and every staff member I interacted with was welcoming and friendly without pushing me into looking at new vehicles.

My experience was okay here. In my opinion, there was some room for improvement. When my car was done getting serviced, the plastic was still on the seat and the odometer setting was not set back to where it originally was. I wasn't sure if they had finished or not. It seems like they rushed out to take care of someone else's car and forgot to finish with my car. I also would have liked to have had my car washed after getting serviced. That is such a nice touch. I called at 2:30 for a front end alignment and did not have an appointment. Sheila said come on in. I was called at 3:15 to go to cashier, you can't beat that anywhere else for service. That's why I buy all my vehicles from Ray Brandt. Since 2008 I have bought 5 vehicles, 4 for me and one for my son. I have sent 4 other people over there also and all bought cars or trucks.

I didn't know I needed a new tire. Light had been on for awhile. Brandon explained if it's one tire that's off, it's a good chance that tire has a nail or something in it. Had to travel the next day. So thankful my tire was replaced just in time!

I always bring my Toyota Camry to Shelia Leblanc for service. She is always knowledgeable and helpful. After she clearly explained all the things wrong with my 12 year old Toyota, my husband and I decided to buy a new car. Hunter Landry was our salesman. He was most courteous and helpful to our concerns! Since I wanted another Camry, he showed us several on the lot and even offered to locate another one somewhere else, if need be. We decided to purchase one on the lot. He explained many features of the car, as we test drove the vehicle. Hunter even helped us remove all of our items in our old car. It was a pleasure to work with him. Woody Gregoire handled my paperwork. He was very courteous. My old car was purchased at Ray Brandt, as this new car. 2008 Highlander water damage repair

I believe the dealership did the best they could with my 11 year old car. Water came in thru the taillights and caused the carpet to be saturated every time it rained. My car was at dealership for about five weeks because the replacement carpet could only be found in Japan! Huge inconvenience for both me and the dealership- I was without a car and the dealership had to keep my car in the service bay on rack because they had removed seats and interior. We both suffered from the surprise unavailability of carpet replacement.

Rip off

Went for a new tire (right front) and had left rear checked for slow leak. Was told all other tires were good but needed alignment. ($100). Later learned actually had a screw in tire- not sure how they did an alignment and missed that (???) and had to take more time away from work to deal with what should have been fixed in one visit. Service website offers loaner cars. Those don’t exist. This place has turned me off of Toyota

Arrived a bit early for prearranged scheduled service, spoke to Ms. LeBlanc , my usual service rep. She advised I needed no more than a tire rotation. Waited in the showroom waiting area just long enough to have a cup of coffee, and watched AM local news on TV. My vehicle was then ready, and I was on my way. Couldn't have been any better. I've always had good experiences, on previous service appointments, and this one was every bit as good as the others.

I go mainly to just do routine upkeep; and so far it has done well with no major problems. It is a 2010, so it's getting up there. Slow and lacking communication

I stood in service department for several minutes before anyone actually acknowledged me. I walked up to cashier thinking maybe I need to check in there first. Tech forgot to reset service light and it set off a warning for service. I don’t have time to go back there so I figured out how to do myself. Previous visit to replace broken window was a disaster. Tech didn’t properly connect door handle couldn’t open door from inside. They were supposed to replace tail light lenses and that wasn’t done. Had to return for that to be done. Come on folks I hope this car stands up to Toyota reputation and we are just on a rough start. This is my first foreign car please don’t let me down. All minor mistakes by service department would be nice if I could just drop off car in morning then Uber to work. I start at 6:30 am. Don’t always have time to stop in the middle of my day for service.
